Our Process

Your journey with us starts when you first get in contact with us. We are traditional and love a good old fashioned phone call so we can get to know each other. However, you can also fill out the form on the contact page if you prefer!

We want you to fall in love with The Resting Hill as much as we have, and this can only really be achieved with a personal visit. Whether you are looking for the perfect place for yourself and/or your relatives, we will arrange a date that is suitable for everyone (all viewings are strictly via appointment only). We will greet you at our farm and then escort you up to the hill.

If you feel that The Resting Hill is the perfect place, then you do not need to do anything further until the time comes.
If you are scattering a loved ones ashes, when the time is right for you, simply give us a call and we can arrange the perfect date for you to return to us for the ash scattering. We can be involved as much or as little as you like.
If you are looking for a site for yourself, simply ensure you leave sufficient instructions for your loved ones.

Every ceremony is unique, so we will discuss the details of the day and your individual requirements with you before hand.
Optional plaque
Having a permanent marker to commemorate a loved one’s final resting place is something that is important to many people, but is not always possible when scattering ashes.
We want to ensure that you can permanently commemorate the experience by providing you with a number of plaque options that can be mounted on our remembrance wall on the top of the hill. This can be discussed on the phone or in person.
